Providing homes for the homeless in Nigeria
Children living on the streets are prone to illnesses, malnourishment, drug abuse, crime, accidents, arrest and harassment by law enforcement agents, and are also at risk of being trafficked. Some are orphans — there are an estimated 8.6 million orphaned children in Nigeria. And some have left “unhappy homes,” UNICEF reports.
Our charitable organisation recently secured a facility in Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria, which we intend to turn into a center for these vulnerable children as well as orphans. This facility needs a high level renovation and equipment to make it fit for purpose.
