Many often think of Charity As an Action. But we think of Charity as a State Of The Heart.

Great achievers International Foundation is a Non-Profit organization established to help widows, youths, young adults and homeless children in Nigeria and beyond. We believe every person deserves the access to quality life.

Initiated in Osun State, Nigeria by a UK-based philanthropist, Mrs. Esther Olufunmi Olufemi, the foundation is registered in the UK with REG. No: 11952953, and in Nigeria with CAC/IT/NO/118830

This project was borne by her interest and concern for the youths, young adults, widows, homeless children, orphans and the less privileged, because of their vulnerability in the society. The goal is to assist them on their survival, rights, growth, development, and empowerment so that they too can realize their full potentials like every other privileged persons.

IGAIF is focused on prevention of poverty by addressing the causes and consequences.

Our Poverty Prevention Scheme (PVS)  is providing Free Vocational Training and a life-Long learning which will promote, sustain and increase individual and collective knowledge and understanding of specific areas of study, skill and expertise which will eventually enable them to be financially independent and successful. We offer Vocational Training in the following department:

  • Information Technology/Computing
  • Hairdressing
  • Barbering
  • Event Planning & Management
  • Leather Works/Shoe Making
  • Photography & Videography
  • Laundry Services
  • Catering
  • Metal Works & Welding
  • Plumbing
  • Fashion Designing
  • Agriculture
  • Carpentry
  • Auto Mechanics. 

Our Poverty Relief scheme (PRS) is aimed at relieving people of their financial/material hardship, relieving those in need by reason of Youth, Age, Ill-Health, Disability, Financial Hardship Or other Disadvantages. 

We provide relief either from either Poverty or financial hardship of anyone who does not have the resources to provide themselves, either on a Short or long-term basis, with the normal things of life which most people take for granted. This we do by:

  • Grant of Money 
  • The provision of items (either outright or on loan) such as furniture, bedding, clothing, food, home appliances etc
  • Payment for service such as essential house decorating, insulation and repairs, laundering, meals on wheels, outings and entertainment, child-minding, rates and utilities
  • Provision of facilities such as the supply of tools or books, payment of fees for instruction, examination or other expenses connected with Vocational Training, language, literacy,  technical skills, travelling expenses to help the recipients to earn their living, equipment and funds for recreational pursuits or training intended to bring the quality of life of the beneficiaries to a reasonable standard.

IGAIF provides money management and debt counselling advice, Business Management and Administration Trainings as our further measures of preventing poverty.

To contribute our quota towards engaging and improving human capitals in Nigeria and other nations in the world.

Objectives

To provide a platform for implementing projects and initiatives for the less privileged, youths, young adults, aged, homeless children, orphans and widows to a greater level of self-actualization, productive advocacy such that an improved life is guaranteed for the directly concerned and solutions are provided to the identified problems.

Specific Objectives

  • To be a reference point for human capital development and sustainability.
  • To raise awareness to the plight of ordinary people in the society.
  • To initiate and implement programmes and projects that will accelerate the socio-economic development of the under privileged in the society.
  • To engage and sensitize all stakeholders on the need to collaborate with us in the human capital development in our contemporary society.

Philosophy

The organization is (non-profit, non-commercial, and non-governmental) established to operate on its own independent thoughts practices and Programmes, it will provide services to its beneficiaries for their well-being to improve on their economic base and standard of living. It will also collaborate with both national and international agencies to implement her projects in a bid to accelerate the socio-economic development of the concerned individuals.

Mission Statement

We believe no individual can out give mother nature. Everyone needs to take a cue from “mama earth” that hath blessed us all with the best gifts money cannot buy! We believe that truly, it is most honourable to give, especially to those who can not repay.

Our commitment is to contribute our quota towards the development of the human race, especially to individuals who have rare chances at life. We believe that within such, lies the greatest and foremost solutions to humankind’s long raging plagues.
